Online Tuition Payment Disclaimer & Terms
Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television
By submitting an online payment through this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Secure Online Payments
All online payments are processed through a secure third-party payment processor. Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television does not store, process, or retain full credit card or banking information. The Academy is not responsible for technical issues, delays, or errors caused by third-party payment providers.
2. Tuition Fees & Currency
All tuition fees are listed and processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Any additional fees charged by your financial institution, including foreign exchange or processing fees, are the responsibility of the payer.
3. No Refund Policy
All tuition payments are non-refundable once a student has commenced the course.
This includes withdrawal, early departure, non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or voluntary discontinuation for any reason.
4. Course Credit in Lieu of Refund
In place of a refund, students who withdraw after beginning a course may be eligible to receive a credit toward a similar course offered at a later date, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Academy.
- Credits have no cash value
- Credits are non-transferable
- Credits must be used within the timeframe specified by the Academy
5. Program Changes
The Academy reserves the right to modify course schedules, instructors, or program content when necessary. Such changes do not entitle the student to a refund.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television, its directors, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or online payment services.
7. Acknowledgement & Acceptance
By completing an online payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Online Tuition Payment Terms, including the No Refund / Course Credit Policy.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
